I wish it was acceptable for adults to do a cake smash because I would be all over it! Laney was also excited and mesmerized by her cake, with pink frosting (which always tastes better than any other color) and sprinkles how delish! Then comes the moment that you realize your mom and crazy lady taking your pictures wants you to eat it with your hands. You like cake, but you don’t want to get your hands dirty and this can make you a little sad… Its so amazing how kids react to things differently. I’ve seen babies all in on smashing, then some that never take a bite. It reminds me how we are all different with different personalities even at an early age. Laney, you were so dainty and sweet, I have loved watching your grow.
