Happy Belated Easter
Happy Belated Easter! Wow where does the time go? Easter is my favorite holiday, but it really crept up on me this year. I had so little time to plan anything, and I’m ok with that. I was able to take it easy and reflect on the season, which is good for my soul.
This is an old image I shot last summer. I had just started learning film and shot it with a 35mm on porta 400, scanned by TheFindLab. I really love film because it takes time and effort. I have to sit back and wait, instead of overshoot 30 of the same image, go to the post office, and then wait some more for the scans. Shooting film helps me be precise and intentional. The colors of film are amazing, NOTHING beats film skin tones, and the slight grain makes the image come alive.
